Emergency First Response Course Sabah
This is a quick course to take with Sensi Borneo as an individual or as a complete family. We can head out to one of the secluded white beaches right on our doorstep in the Tunku Abdual Rahman Marine Park for an afternoon of training.

Your little brother breaks his arm falling from his bike, someone falls unconscious on a dive boat, and a diver cuts themselves whilst on a wreck dive, and in this ever changing world of more and more natural disasters sometimes you may be the first link in the chain of survival. How can you help?

A course for divers and non-divers alike the Emergency First Response approach to training builds confidence in rescuers and increases their willingness to respond when faced with a medical emergency by teaching them the skills they need by giving as much practice as necessary to master and retain these skills. A basic course in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and emergency care - helps you take simple, logical steps to assist somebody who needs help. Many divers take the Emergency First Response courses to meet program prerequisites, such as PADI Rescue Diver, or as preparation for becoming a PADI Divemaster.

No dive certification is needed and there is no age limit. The Primary Care and Secondary Care courses may be completed in 4 to 6 hours. The materials, a participant manual and a video will be provided for you. Included in the course outline is CPR and first aid for adults, children and infants, and automated external defibrillator (AED) training. At Sensi Borneo we also offer the Emergency First Response Instructor and Instructor Trainer courses.

Emergency First Response's course curricula are based on patient care standards as published in the American Heart Association Guidelines 2005 Standards for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiovascular Care, and the consensus view of the Basic Life Support (BLS) Working Group of the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR). ILCOR is an international standards group representing most of the world's major resuscitation organizations.
