The PADI courses offered at Sensi Borneo range from Bubblemaker for ages 8 years old, the Junior Open Water for children aged 11, the Open Water course for 15 year old up and up, Advanced Open Water, the Rescue course and the PADI Divemaster course for those that wish to take their diving to a professional level.

At 56 metres long, with 4 decks and 40 cabins, she and her crew will guarantee you a safe sail affording you the beauty of all the South China Sea, Sulu Sea and the Celebes Sea has to offer. The Orient Explorer will set sail from Kota Kinabalu, the capital of the State of Sabah, hugging the coast; she will pass by the northern tip of the Sabah, slowly making her way down to the northeastern face of Malaysian Borneo ending up in Tawau. This affords the time challenged traveler staying aboard the Sensi Borneo’s Orient Explorer ‘hop on and hop off’ points such as Kota Belud, Kudat, Sandakan, Lahad Datu, Semporna, and Tawau.

More than 3000 species of fish and hundreds of coral species have been classified in this richest of eco-systems. The marine life that you can expect to see here are the pelagic species such as schooling hammerhead sharks, leopard sharks, manta and eagle rays, and the elusive whale shark, along with the pygmy seahorses, mantis shrimp, as well as leaf, rock and scorpion fish.

The Lankayan Island and the Turtle Islands Parks in Sabah, Malaysian Borneo are famous for their hawksbill and green turtle sanctuaries. And the extreme location of the Layang-Layang atoll with its 2000 kilometre walls draws pelagic as well as macro creatures making it one of the top ten dive sites in the world.
